Past perfect tense examples in Hindi - 

• मैं अपना गृह कार्य पूरा कर चुका था ।

• तुम्हारे आने से पहले लड़कियां सो चुकी थी ।

Past perfect tense in Hindi.

past perfect tense in Hindi का उपयोग भूतकाल मे घटित हुई घटना को बताने के लिए करते हें । कई बार इस tense मे दो घटना का वर्णन भी होता हें ।

past perfect tense का अर्थ "पूर्ण भूतकाल' होता हें । 

ऊपर दिए वाक्यों मे आप समझ सकते हें कि यहाँ दो घटना का वर्णन हें पर दोनों ही घटना भूतकाल मे सम्पन्न हो चुकी हें ।

Past perfect tense in Hindi, rules

1. Singular तथा plural subjects के साथ हमेशा had का प्रयोग किया जाता हें ।
2. यदि किसी वाक्य में "पहले" आता हें तब हम उसके लिए before का उपयोग करेंगे ।
3. यदि किसी वाक्य में "बाद मे" आता हें तब हम उसके लिए after का प्रयोग करेंगे ।
4. past perfect tense in Hindi मे हमेशा हम past participle from यानि की third form का उपयोग करते हें ।
5. हमेशा negative sentence बनाते समय हम had के बाद ही not का प्रयोग करेंगे । 

Past perfect tense की पहचान कैसे करे - 

जब किसी वाक्य के अंत मे "चुका था, चुकी थ, चुके थे," ओर "कर लिया था, किया था" आदि आते हें तब वह वाक्य past perfect tense का होता हें । 

जैसे - वह घर खरीद चुका था । 

Past perfect tense formulas

Past perfect tense को हम चार sentences के माध्यम से समझेंगे । 

for Affirmative sentences. 

S+ had +verb's past participle form +object +other word.

for Negative sentences. 

S+ had + not  +verb's past participle form +object +other word.

for Interrogative sentences. 

Had +S+ verb's past participle form +object +other word.

for negative interrogative sentences. 

Had +S+ verb's past participle form +object +other word.

Affrimative examples 

1. मैं अपना गृह कार्य कर चुका था ।

 I had completed my homework.

2. मैंने सुबह नहा चुका था ।

I had bathed by the morning.

3. वह अपना अभ्यास कर चुकी थी ।

She had completed his study.

4. हमने स्कूल आने से पहले नाश्ता कर लिया था ।

We had eaten breakfast before coming to school.

5. उसने पहले ही सभी पुस्तक पढ़ ली थी ।

He had already read all the books.

6. मैंने खाना खा लिया थे जब तुम आए।

I had eaten food when you arrived.

7. तुम अपने घर पहुच चुके थे।

You had reached your home.

8. तुम्हारे घर पहुचने से पहले में अपना कार्य कर चुका था ।

I had done my work before you reached your home.

9. तुम्हारे आने से पहले लड़किया सो चुकी थी ।

The girls had slept before you came.

10. तुम्हारे सोने से पहले सूर्य अस्त हो चुका था ।

The sun had set before you slept.

11. चिकित्स्य के आने के बाद मरीज मार चुका था।

The patient had died after the doctor had come.
